Abstract
Recent years have seen dramatic developments in extracorporeal. ultrasonogr aphy: Color, including-power Doppler ultrasonography, ultrasonography angio graphy, harmonic imaging (tissue harmonic imaging and contrast harmonic ima ging) and 3-dimensional ultrasonography (including virtual endoscopy). In this report, we describe the present situation and the prospective outlo ok for these new diagnostic modalities mainly on the basis of our own exper iences.
