Abstract
In an experiment conducted during the rainy season of 1998 effects of 3 pla nting times and 3 N levels were studied on 'Proagro 6201' hybrid rice (Oryz a saliva L.). The plantings on 20 July and 5 August were found equally effe ctive for grain yield, number and weight of tillers and dry-matter accumula tion. These parameters (except dry-matter accumulation) increased significantly u p to an application of 100 kg N/ha. The correlation indicated that tillers numebr and dry-matter accumulation at 30 and 90 days after transplanting we re the most important parameters that affected the grain yield of hybrid ri ce.
