Abstract
There may be some fire accidents related to flammability during the running of some refrigerating system if leakages appear. Because the alternative m ixtures in the systems may have leaked and changed their composition, some of them may have possibly become weakly flammable. The theoretical calculat ion results based on CSD equation have been achieved that have not previous ly been reported. There are two most dangerous leakage position points and a most dangerous operating condition for flammable mixtures in refrigeratin g and air conditioner systems. We have found the ways and criteria to evalu ate them according to the behaviors of the mixtures to prevent the fire and explosion accidents.
