Abstract
In this paper we devise an algorithm for the selection of personnel for a m ultiple phase project which takes into account the match between the skills possessed by the personnel, the skills needed for each phase, and rather f lexible budget considerations. This algorithm uses several fuzzy constructs : compatibility, degree of equality, and the necessity of a set given a fuz zy set of available capital.
