Ceramic samples of Pr0.7Sr0.3 (x)square xMnO3 with x less than or equal to0
.2 have been investigated by various techniques including Mn-55 nuclear mag
netic resonance. SQUID magnetometry, resistivity and magneto resistance mea
surements. On increasing x, the samples remain ferromagnetic at a low tempe
rature with a decreasing Curie temperature, but a metal-insulator transitio
n is observed. Besides, a positive magneto resistance (MR) at very low temp
eratures with respect to a negative colossal MR at high temperatures is obs
erved in the Pr(0.7)Sr(0.2)square 0.1MnO3 sample. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science
