Abstract
The microstructural evolution during plastic deformation is described as gr ain subdivision on a finer and finer scale with increasing strain. Key stru ctural features are dislocation boundaries and high angle boundaries. These boundaries have characteristic parameters which are used in a comparison o f deformation microstructures produced under different conditions.
