Abstract
Five sesquiterpene carbonimide dichlorides (1-5) have been isolated from th e dichloromethane extract of the Australian sponge Ulosa spongia. The struc tures of the two new compounds, ulosins A (1) and B (2), were elucidated by employing spectroscopic techniques (NMR, MS, UV, and IR). The chemotaxonom ic significance of our data is discussed.
