Abstract
We used the Renormalization Group (RG) method in the Hertz-Millis version t o study the quantum phase transition of the itinerant-electron ferromagnet. Near the quantum phase transition point the system present a non-Fermi beh avior in agreement with the experimental results. The importance of long-ra nge interactions considered by Belitz-Kirkpatrick-Vojta was taken into cons ideration, showing the importance of the marginal parameters.
