Abstract
Primary headache disorders are very common. Tension-type headache affects u p to 40% of the population, and migraine affects approximately 12% of the,p opulation. The indirect costs in terms of lost work productivity and direct costs of these diseases are profound. Underdiagnosis and undertreatment of headaches add to these costs, resulting in a significant burden to the ind ividual sufferer and society.
