Abstract
Some human T cells are activated in vivo and in vitro by small non-peptide antigens, so-called phosphoantigens. Since their discovery in 1994, several reports have continuously documented novel members of this category of imm unostimulatory molecules. This article reviews the current knowledge on the ir biochemical properties. (C) 2001 Editions scientifiques et medicales Els evier SAS.
