Y2K+1 state-of-the-art on non-peptide phosphoantigens, a novel category ofimmunostimulatory molecules

Some human T cells are activated in vivo and in vitro by small non-peptide antigens, so-called phosphoantigens. Since their discovery in 1994, several reports have continuously documented novel members of this category of imm unostimulatory molecules.
