Abstract
The soap industry know an important evolution the lost two hundred years. S ince the 5 lost years, the European soap manufacturer has a important probl em, in accordance with the use of tallow as raw soap raw material: the ESB. The modem soap processing and the selection of the raw material for tallow extraction give all the guarantees for the human health. But, is it really interesting for the European soap manufacturer, to substitute tallow with palm oil? The control of a raw material source like palm oil is no easy.
