Rayer's scientific work is extended on several fields of the medicine. His most considerable contribution concerns dermatology, anatomopathology, infe ctious pathology and medical chemistry However thanks more particularly to his work on uro-nephrology, Rayer is considered as one of the founders of t his discipline.
