Fluorescent-labeled derivatives of dolichyl phosphate. Analogs of dolichylphosphate with the 2-aminopyridine residue at the omega-end of the chain

A simple approach to the synthesis of dolichyl phosphate derivatives with a fluorescent label, 2-aminopyridine residue, at the omega -end of the chain was developed. The method includes selective van Tamelen epoxidation of th e omega -isoprene unit in dolichyl acetates, transformation of the epoxides to omega -terminal aldehydes, their reductive amination, and phosphorylati on of the resulting amino alcohols.
