Abstract
The conductivity of a low-melting metal-polymer-metal system as a function of temperature is studied. A new technique for detecting structural modific ations in metals is suggested. Experimental results are discussed within a model of charge instability, which occurs in thin polymer films when bounda ry conditions are changed. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
