Abstract
The reactions of pyrroles with 2-methoxyphenols, which proceeded smoothly a t either 0 degreesC or room temperature via the Diels-Alder reactions of in situ generated masked o-benzoquinones are described. (C) 2001 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd. All rights reserved.
