Abstract
The crystal structure of trisodium hexanitrocobaltate(III) has been determi ned by X-ray diffraction at 293 and 10 K. It contains the slightly distorte d octahedral Co(NO2)(6)(3-) anion. The accurate and extensive data sets col lected should be suitable for charge-density analysis studies.
