The parity and isospin forbidden po-decay from N-14*(J(pi) = 2(+); T = 1; E
-x = 9.17225 MeV) to C-13 (g.s.) has been theoretically investigated via C-
13((p) over bar, p)C-13 resonance scattering of polarized protons. Consider
ing various strong and weak interaction models, the longitudinal (A(L)) and
the irregular transverse (A(b)) analyzing powers have been calculated in t
he energy range around the 2(+), E-x = 9.17225 MeV-resonance in N-14*. Ener
gy anomalies for the expected interference effects, relevant for the experi
ments, have been found to be A(L) = (0.19 divided by 1.82) x 10(-5) and A(b
) = (0.6 divided by 5.6) x 10(-5). In addition, the circular polarizations
of the 2.36018 and 9.3893 MeV gamma -rays, populating the 2(+)0, E-x = 7.02
912 MeV and the ground state in mbox N-14-nucleus, have been found to be (0
.22 divided by 2.07) x 10(-3) and (0.20 divided by 1.89) x 10(-3), respecti
vely.
