Patients with myocardial infarction may develop free wall myocardial ruptur e during follow-up. We identified electrocardiographic criteria that can co ntribute to the early identification of patients with impending cardiac rup ture, which may prompt echocardiography and subsequent treatment of these h igh-risk patients.
