Abstract
This study examines the effect of beta blockers on expression of interleuki n-6 and C-reactive protein in patients with unstable angina. Our study sugg ests the importance of inflammation in the pathophysiology of unstable angi na and that beta blockers may play a role in decreasing the levels of inter leukin-6 and C-reactive protein in patients with unstable angina.
