Abstract
We report the case of a 72-year-old woman who developed fatal immune hemoly tic anemia with multisystem organ failure and shock caused by diclofenac-de pendent red blood cell autoantibodies. The patient described dramatically i llustrates the potential severity of this adverse reaction and emphasizes t he need for increased awareness of this complication of drug therapy.
