Abstract
An efficient synthesis of (R)-2,3-dihydroxypropyl 5-deoxy-5-dimethylarsinyl -beta -D-riboside, a common marine arsenical, from D-ribose, (S)-2,3-dibenz yloxypropanol and iododimethylarsine is described.
