Abstract
We present a new application of the recursive T-matrix algorithm to ca lculate the scattered field from a single or multiple metallic cylinde rs of arbitrary shapes. Using the equivalence theorem, each metallic o bject is replaced with small metallic cylinders along its perimeter, t hen scattered fields are calculated using the recursive T-matrix algor ithm. Results are verified by those in the literature and by analytica l calculations. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
