SPECTRAL-DOMAIN ANALYSIS OF COPLANAR STRIP DISCONTINUITIES

The characteristics of a coplanar strip discontinuity can be obtained accurately by employing the spectral domain technique which takes into account the radiation from the discontinuity. As an example, a coplan ar strip open end is examined, and the reactive and resistive parts of its equivalent circuit are computed. The obtained reactance is shown to be in good agreement with that obtained from the theory and measure ment reported recently in the literature. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
