Abstract
This paper proposes a new method for the speed controller design of brushle ss DC motor, which is based on the linear exponential quadratic Gaussian wi th loop transfer recovery (LEQG/LTR) methodology. In addition, we design a speed sensorless brushless DC motor vector-controlled driver with both the extended Kalman filter and the LEQG/LTR algorithm. The experimental realiza tion of a brushless DC motor is given. The results verify the performance o f design for sensorless speed controller. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. Al l rights reserved.
