Abstract
A novel flattened optical multicarrier generation scheme that is based on a sinusoidal amplitude-phase hybrid modulation technique is proposed. The pe rformance of this proposed scheme is confirmed analytically and experimenta lly, and its support of up to 256 channels is demonstrated.
