,Endoscopic Hemoclips were developed as a method of securing permanent hemo
stasis in cases of nonvariceal gastrointestinal bleeding. However, Hemoclip
s have also been found useful in several other situations, such as closure
of small perforations, as marking devices, and for anchoring feeding tubes.
We describe here a further novel use of Hemoclips - to anchor an esophagea
l endoprosthesis.
