Avascular necrosis of both femoral heads in an HIV-infected patient receiving protease inhibitors

Several adverse effects have been reported under antiretroviral therapy con taining protease inhibitors. We report a further case of avascular necrosis of both femoral heads in an HIV-infected patient treated with protease inh ibitor containing antiretroviral therapy.
