Abstract
The aim of this paper was to determine the quantum efficiency of a serie of pesticides (s-triazine, anilide, thiocarbamate, organophosphorus) and to e valuate their life time in aqueous medium using sun light energy. The exper iments for the determination of the quantum efficiency were carried out in a solar light simulator equipped with a xenon lamp. The life time was calcu lated according to the European guide line recommendation [1] with the sun energy from western Europe. The validity of the results obtained for the qu antum efficiencies and the life times are discussed in this study.
