Abstract
The title compound has been prepared by the reaction of dimethylphenylphosp hine and (mesotetraphenylchlorinato) iron(DI) triflate. Its structural char acteriztion demonstrates that the low-spin iron (III) atom is centerd in th e heme plane with a radial expansion of the chlorinato core. [GRAPHICS]
