A 44-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital for repeated hemoptysis. S
elective angiography of the bilateral bronchial arteries showed them to be
enlarged and convoluted, and revealed shunts between the bronchial and pulm
onary arteries. The patient was diagnosed as having racemose hemangioma of
the bronchial artery. Although embolization of the bronchial artery with ge
latin sponges was performed, hemoptysis emerged again about one year later.
Finally, segmentectomy of the right lower lung was performed and primary r
