Abstract
The kinetics of network polymerization are considered by the method of gene rating functions. The critical condition at gelation is defined as the conv ersion when the second moment of the distribution of macromolecules with re spect to functionality Phi (22)(t) --> infinity. Relations for the critical conversions for polymerization with instantaneous and slow initiation, wit hout and with the chain transfer and recombination are obtained.
