Abstract
We show that for n greater than or equal to 2 all links of embedded n-spher
es in Sn+2 are singular slice, i.e. bound pairwise disjoint (but not embedd
ed) n + 1-disks in Dn+3. The proof relies on a careful analysis of immersio
ns in codimension two, that allows us to work in a nilpotent setting.
