Abstract
Users of private mobile radio trunking systems often communicate in gr oups, queueing for a free channel if all channels are engaged. A finit e-source queueing model is more appropriate than the infinite-source E rlang-C model. Performance equations, including the probability of del ay exceeding a certain period, are derived.
