String theory, large dimensions and supersymmetry

With our current level of understanding, the problem of making string theor y predictions is not one of "solving" the theory, but rather of trying to d etermine whether there are any generic expectations. Within this context, w e discuss what it would mean to predict low energy supersymmetry, and consi der questions like: what is the form of low energy CP violation, is unifica tion a string prediction, and similar questions.
