In this lecture we present the light-cone quantized, supersymmetric abelian
Chern-Simons theory. While this theory has been studied many times, this p
articular formulation is of interest because it is the starting point for t
he numerical technique, SDLCQ (supersymmetric discrete light-cone quantizat
ion). This theory is of interest from the SDLCQ perspective because the zer
o modes of the theory play a fundamental role in the theory and because it
is a topological field theory. These are two aspects of supersymmetric fiel
d theory that have not previously been addressed within the context of SDLC
Q. We will also comment on the dependence of the Witten Index on the Chern-
Simons coupling.
