Condensation of amino dichlorophosphanes R2NPCl2 with Na2Te or Te(SiMe3)(2)
yields the new P,Te-heterocycles 1 - 4 and the phosphino substituted cyclo
tetraphosphanes 5. The new compounds are fully characterized by P-31 and Te
-125 NMR spectroscopy. Using a triphenylphosphonium ylidyl dichlorophosphan
e unexpectedly orange yellow crystals of (Ph3P)(2)Te are isolated, the stru
cture of which is determined by X-ray crystallography.
