Abstract
N-alkyl-2-mercaptoacetamides of gallium having general formula [RNHC(O)CH2S ](3)Ga, where R = C2H5, n-C3H7, i-C3H7, n-C4H9, i-C4H9, sec-C4H9 have been prepared and characterised by elemental analysis and spectral (IR, H-1 & C- 13 NMR) studies. The complexes appear to exist in two conformational isomer ic forms in solution and the probable structure for both the isomers have b een proposed.
