L electron populations of hollow ions produced in collisions of energetic Ar ions with metallic targets

Abstract
In this work, we studied hollow ions produced in collisions of Ar ions with metallic targets of atomic numbers 12 similar to 73, at incident energies 43 similar to 95 MeV. We observed K-alpha hypersatellites and satellites of Ar ions and obtained L shell electron populations with vacant and half vac ant K shell. The results are very different to those reported for hollow at oms formed in slow collisions.
