A multi-configuration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) method has been used to study the 2
s(2)2p, (P-2(3/2) - P-2(1/2).) Ml transitions of Ar13+ and all the M1 trans
itions among the 2s2p levels of Ar14+ by including correlation effects to a
rather large extent. Some detailed comparisons of the present theoretical
results with the newest experiments and a few existing calculations are pre
sented.
