Effect of atomic shells in coherent polarization bremsstrahlung radiation of fast electrons in light element media. Configurational splitting

Peculiarities of coherent polarization bremsstrahlung radiation (PB) of fas t electrons in matters of light elements with the clearly expressed atomic shell structures are considered. Here coherent PB acquires the special stru cture split on two low and high frequency regions that is most noticeable i n media with atomic numbers Z < 10. As a whole coherent PB spectrum displac es in low frequency region contrasting to earlier known predictions. The re gions of a partial and complete PB coherence are indicated.
