Abstract
The temperature behavior of the low-frequency Raman spectra of vitreous and supercooled liquid benzophenones is investigated experimentally. The struc tural phase transformations are studied by differential scanning calorimetr y. The results obtained suggest that the structure of glasses involves nano meter-sized fragments similar to the structural elements of the crystals. ( C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/ Interperiodica".
