Thiophosphates and selenophosphates as tools in the construction of carbon-carbon double bond

Efficient new methodology of regio- and stereoselective synthesis of a vari ety of functionalized mono- and polycyclic compounds based on thio- and sel enophosphates is reported. The representative examples of these compounds a re: vinyl thiiranes, conjugated dienes, cycloadducts, alpha,beta -unsaturat ed carbonyl compounds, allylic alcohols, alpha -hydroxy ketones and aromati c compounds.
