Abstract
In her essay "La herida siempre apierta en un cuerpo" o las politicas de in vestidura en Carmen Boullosa" the author explores the questioning of generi c constructions in "Duerme," a novel which introduces a protagonist who pla ys with identity representations. On the basis of theoretical principles fr om M. Foucault and Derrida, J. Bulter's own theorization on transvestism an d the politcs of the body are also called into question.
