Abstract
Binuclear copper(I) complexes [Cu(Dppm)(2,2'-Bipy)](2)(NO3)(2) (I) and [Cu( Dppm)(Phen)](2)(NO3)(2) (II) (Dppm = Ph2CH2PPh2 have been prepared and char acterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The X-ray crystal s tructure of complex I shows that Dppm coordinates as a bridging ligand and 2,2'-Bipy as a bidentate ligand to the Cu(I) atoms with tetrahedral structu re.
