Abstract
Short, efficient and stereoselective synthesis of a furano lignans. (+/-)- Dihydrosesamin and (+/-)-Acuminatin Methyl Ether has been achieved in good overall yield through the radical cyclisation of epoxides using a Ti(III) r eagent as the radical initiator.
