Abstract
Zirconia can be coated on zeolite NaY to modify the surface acid - basic pr operties of the zeolite and to form novel porous materials with framework o f the zeolite by microwave radiation. The dispersion threshold of ZrO2 on z eolite NaY is found to be about 10%. On this new material ZrO2/NaY, N - nit rosopyrrolidine (NPYR) is easier to degrade than on either parent zeolite o r zirconia. When this degradation process occurrs in air, the formation of NOx can be dramatically suppressed. It is favorable to protect environment and public health.
