Abstract
Introduction and evaluation of the performance of the different visualizati on techniques of IPP-ultrasound, x-ray, cavernosography and magnetic resona nce imaging. MRI has a high diagnostic potential for the detection of small plaques, the assessment of plaque-inflammation, exclusion of accompanying complications like thrombosis of the corpora cavernosa and for the therapeu tic follow-up.
