Topcolor assisted technicolor models and single top quark production via q(q)over-bar ' -> t(b)over-bar at the Tevatron

TC2 theory predicts a number of new particles including gauge bosons, techn ipions and top-pions. In this paper, we study and calculate the corrections of all these new particles to single top-quark production rate at via the process q (q) over bar ' --> t (b) over bar at the Fermilab Tevatron. Our r esults show that the correction mainly comes from the virtual effect of the top-pions. With reasonable value of the parameters, the relative correctio n delta sigma (t)/sigma (0)(t) is larger than 15% which may be detected at the Tevatron RunII or RunIII.
