s is highly controversial. Pathophysiological studies suggest the two facto
rs may have additive effects in ulcerogenesis. Clinical studies, however, y
ield conflicting messages due to hetrogeneity of study designs. The interac
tion of H. pylori and NSAID cannot be as simple as either synergistic or an
tagonistic. History of NSAID usage, ulcer bleeding as well as other risk fa
