Stray-field techniques are reported for P-31 studies of solids for a variet
y of compounds including bone, bone meal and calcium hydroxyapatite. Long H
ahn echo trains produced by the application of many pulses were used as in
the long echo-train summation technique. Double-resonance enhancements of P
-31 by use of both direct and indirect experiments were attempted on a samp
le of NH4PF6: P-31{F-19} double resonance produced, at most, a 26% increase
in the initial level of the P-31 echo signal. (C) 2001 Academic Press.
